It’s always fun when we can pull out the old Christmas Swing charts once more. I never tire of The Christmas Song, Winter Wonderland , Frosty The Snowman etc. This Christmas offered up the opportunity to perform these iconic songs close to home in The Old Swann and The West Park Hotels in Harrogate. I Love it when venues they not only provide us with a real piano and free beer but a fantastic beef wellington – if only gig food was always this good! If they look after their suppliers this well then it’s another level for their guests. For the staff at The West Park Harrogate, led my Anthony Blundell, nothing is too much trouble which is why their guests keep going back time after time. Thanks for having us once more. 
Luckily for me, The West Park Hotel wasn’t our only home gig this December. Aside from playing in private residences across the county we also played at The Old Swann . What an amazing ballroom they have. It really is a perfect place for the Swing Band to play our 1920’s repertoire. Here’s a shot of us setting up before the guests arrive.
